The last time I baked bread I followed instructions I read in a book to crisp up the crust by throwing a shot glass of water into the oven to create steam. Quick tip: Aim away from the oven light or you will shatter the bulb all over your beautiful loaves.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12079918672962682126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8254011898027995049.post-69675245776326620972012-05-21T14:39:40.394-04:002012-05-21T14:39:40.394-04:00YUM.YUM.Sourire11https://www.blogger.com/profile/16353128118756158137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8254011898027995049.post-9351905941526297202012-05-21T14:25:02.828-04:002012-05-21T14:25:02.828-04:00Ooooh - I love that idea! You can let the machine do all the work up to that point, then transfer to loaf pans and bake them in the oven. Still very little work for you, and you get the traditional bread shape.Sarah Berridgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08943219983251476364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8254011898027995049.post-33179531807408043412012-05-21T12:04:45.354-04:002012-05-21T12:04:45.354-04:00I cook like a fiend but the thought of making yeas...I cook like a fiend but the thought of making yeast bread terrifies me for some reason! I've thought about buying a bread maker but I think the shape of the loaves is yucky too.
